Dear Readers:

Andrea was born in Niagara Falls, Canada and relocated to suburban Chicago at age 10. Divorced – by choice…and grateful to be so – Walker currently works as an office manger for a boutique public relations firm in downtown Chicago. In her spare time, Walker lends her professional expertise to brides-to-be (yes, true happiness, even if not for her, can be found) and others planning important social or business events in the Chicagoland area (www.andreawalker.com). When not going on disastrous dates, engrossed with her day job, or with the minutia of others' nuptials or large gatherings, Walker volunteers at an abused and neglected children's shelter. For her dedication, Walker earned H House's coveted Heart of Gold Award for outstanding volunteer service in 2003. She is currently working on her second book. And by choice, still single!
